Double room:
£722pcm

Double room available in a terraced house in Caversham, near The Last Crumb pub.
Rent: £722.50, bills usually around £140 pm (not incl broadband)

The available room is partially furnished with a double bed, mattress, built in clothes rail, bedside table and other storage units. If the furniture is not required, it can be removed and the room can be rented unfurnished.

Current tenant:
I've lived in the house for around 8 months, I have a German shepherd dog, 10 years old - she's very quiet and spends her time snoozing or pottering about the house. I walk her twice a day. She never barks and is very friendly and gentle.

I work onsite in a museum warehouse in Reading (The British Museum), Mon-Fri, 8-4pm. Evenings and weekends I chill at home, go out walking, see friends, cinema / pub - the usual stuff. I get up very early so am usually winding down around 9pm. I read, watch series, cook, do knitting/sewing at home.

I speak English (native) and Spanish (fluent).

The house has a small front room with large comfy corner sofa, a good-sized kitchen with dinning table, utility space, bathroom with shower and bath, and a south-facing garden.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (the vacant one is at the front of the property) and one small room at the back which is shared by both tenants as a spare room for guests / office space.

I'm a very clean and tidy person and like to keep the house clean and organised. Although the house has a good number of rooms, they are quite small and the house works best if both housemates are respectful, quiet, and tidy after themselves.

There is plenty of on-street parking in the neighbouring streets - I never find it difficult to find somewhere to park close by. A parking permit for the year is around £45 and you can also apply for 20 free visitor permits for a year.

The landlord lives in the neighbourhood.
I don't currently have broadband but this is negotiable.
