🏡 Double Room in Friendly, Mature Household – Available End of October 2026

A spacious, furnished double room , the photo needs updating but now has a large double comfortable bed. And is available from the end of October 2026 in my three-bedroom semi-detached home in Redditch.

The room now has a comfortable double bed and comes with all bills included, including Wi-Fi.

You’ll have access to the shared bathroom, kitchen, dining/living room, laundry facilities and garden. Cleaning products, laundry supplies and toilet roll are also provided.

The house is within walking distance of Redditch town centre and train station (approximately 25 minutes), with bus stops close to the property providing easy access to Redditch and Bromsgrove. On-street parking is available.

🏡 About the household

This is a friendly, relaxed and respectful home with a fairly quiet atmosphere. Everyone has their own routines and enjoys having a peaceful place to come home to.

The home is shared with one medium-sized, friendly dog, a cat and a kitten 🐶🐱🐱, so it’s important that any new housemate genuinely enjoys being around animals. Unfortunately, the room wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with pet allergies.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Is a working professional or has a regular daytime routine.
• Is clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces.
• Is independent and has their own hobbies, interests and social life.
• Enjoys a good balance between home life and getting out and about.
• Appreciates a calm household where everyone respects each other’s privacy and routines.
• Is comfortable and happy around dogs and cats.
• Is considerate of the household and the people and pets living here.
• Cleans up after themselves and keeps any areas they use clean and tidy.

I’m also happy for housemates to contribute towards a regular cleaner if preferred.

🐾 Pets

We currently have one friendly medium-sized dog, a cat and a kitten. They are an important part of the household, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely likes animals and is comfortable sharing their home with pets.

There may occasionally be small opportunities to help with the pets, such as letting the dog in or out if I’m delayed or away for a short time, but this is not a pet-sitting or caring role.

The room is available from the end of October 2026.

I’m looking for someone who is ideally able to move in around this time or shortly afterwards. The room is intended for one occupant only and isn’t suitable for couples or families.
