Double Room and single room in Friendly, Mature Household – Available End of August/September

A spacious furnished double room is available in my modern three-bedroom semi-detached home in Redditch.

The room includes all bills, Wi-Fi and access to the shared bathroom, kitchen, dining/living room, laundry facilities and garden. Cleaning products, laundry supplies and toilet roll are also provided.

The house is within walking distance of Redditch town centre and train station (around 25 minutes), with bus stops outside the property providing easy access to Redditch and Bromsgrove. On-street parking is available.

About the household

This is a friendly, relaxed and respectful home with a fairly quiet atmosphere. Everyone has their own routines and enjoys having a peaceful place to come home to.

The home is shared with pets, so it’s important that any new housemate genuinely enjoys being around animals. We currently have two dogs, a cat and other small pets, so unfortunately the room wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with pet allergies.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Is a working professional or someone with a regular daytime routine.

• Is clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces.

• Is independent and has their own hobbies, interests and social life, enjoying a balance between home life and getting out and about.

• Appreciates a calm household where everyone respects each other’s privacy and routines.

• Is happy to occasionally help with small pet-related tasks, such as feeding the animals or letting the dogs in and out if I’m delayed or away for a short time.

• Cleans up after themselves and keeps any areas they use clean and tidy. Alternatively, I’m happy for housemates to contribute towards a regular cleaner if preferred.

This room is intended for one occupant only and isn’t suitable for couples or families.
