🌿 Lovely Flat Share in Barnes
Hi,
I’m looking for a clean, tidy, and respectful flatmate to share my lovely, modern flat in Barnes.
I live here with my 11-year-old boxer and a cat — both are friendly, calm, and very well-behaved. This home would suit someone who genuinely likes animals and feels comfortable sharing a space with them.
👋 About Me
I enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle and regularly do sport — running, tennis, and going to the gym. I work as an Event Manager, so my schedule is flexible and varies from week to week. I’m friendly, considerate, and value a calm, comfortable home environment.
It would be lovely to find someone who is happy to occasionally chat or share the space, as the living room and kitchen are open plan, while also respecting privacy and personal routines.
🛏 The Room
The room is a good size and comes furnished with:
• A lovely bed with a very comfortable mattress
• Excellent storage, with an entire wall of built-in wardrobes/cabinets
The room is fully furnished and no additional furniture is required.
The shared bathroom has a shower over the bath.
🏡 The Flat & Practicalities
• All bills are included (including Richmond Council tax)
• A small third bedroom that can be used as a guest room/ WFH space if required
• I usually work a mix of home and office days
The flat is close to the train line — noticeable at first, but most people adjust quickly and sleep very well here.
The landlord is reliable and responsive, and any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly. Neighbours are friendly and the area feels safe and welcoming.
📍 Location
This is a beautiful, sought-after area with a real village feel.
• The river, Barnes village, and Sheen High Street are all within a 10-minute walk
• Plenty of lovely cafés, pubs, markets, and local shops nearby
• Richmond Park and other green spaces close by — ideal if you enjoy being outdoors
Transport:
• Mortlake and Barnes Bridge stations are both a short walk
• Waterloo in approx. 20–25 minutes
• Putney and Richmond tubes around 10 minutes by bus
