This is a ‘Homeshare’ opportunity - low-cost accommodation in return for some practical help and companionship (approx. 10-15 hrs per week).
Cost **£240 per month Homeshare fee
Plus £150 contribution to bills **
**Available immediately for the right person, subject to our matching and vetting process**
For this Homeshare we are looking to match a kind, compassionate and friendly individual who is happy to provide some help and companionship (approx. 10 hours per week) to a young man who is neuro-divergent, in return for the low-cost accommodation (£240 pm).
Our Homeowner is in his early 30’s, a bright, interesting and sociable person who works outside the home during the week, working in the field of law. Being autistic, structure and routine are important for him, and he is looking to share his home with someone who is able and happy to share an hour of time around mid- late evening on three midweek evenings, (the days can be agreed in advance) and also on a Sunday to help him run through, prepare and organise for the day ahead.
Additionally, he is looking to share with someone who is happy to share the practical (not financial) responsibility of maintaining the flat when necessary, for example finding and arranging maintenance people if needed and generally helping him with the upkeep and organisation of the home.
Essential for this match is also a little companionship; someone who is happy to share a bit of time together in some evenings and on the weekends, maybe sharing a couple of meals, running together or other outdoor sports, sharing good conversation and tv. Our Homeowner’s interests include philosophy, literature, art, foreign films however he is curious and open to discussing a wide range of subjects and develop new interests.
The ideal Sharer:
– will be close in age to the homeowner so ideally aged between 25 and 35.
– will be working or studying with a schedule which aligns with his.
– will ideally have experience of living with or being around someone neuro-divergent.
– will like to live in a clean and tidy environment.
– will be happy to share some meals and activities together.
*No pets please* * Non-smoker only*
We are looking to match this Homeshare opportunity soon. If it is of interest, please get in touch and tell us about yourself, your work/study situation, and interests, and particularly why you consider that you would be well suited to this opportunity.
** Please remember to include your mobile number **
The monthly £240 fee is facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the Homeowner. There is a contribution of £150 per month to the homeowner towards bills and council tax.
