About the flat:
The flat is on the ground floor of a 1930s red sandstone tenement with lots of character. The small front garden separates the flat from the road – though the road is residential and has little traffic.
There are three bedrooms and I use the smallest one for myself, however I mainly live on the west coast and travel to Glasgow for work or gigs. I have marked the ad as 'live in landlord' to be transparent about this arrangement but I'm away more often than not. Happy for my room to be used occasionally for visitors if you like.
Room 1 is huge with a kingsize bed, bedside tables, rug, wardrobe, additional clothes rail and large drawers.
Room 2 is still a good size, with a double bed, bedside tables, rug, triple built in wardrobe (with drawers inside,) desk and chair.
The kitchen and bathroom are on the smaller side but have a surprising amount of cupboard space, they are freshly refitted and modernised. Shower pressure is great!
The shared lounge space does not have a TV (you can bring one if it's important) but there is a projector for movie nights and a dining table that sits 4 people.
Room prices include all bills: wi-fi, council tax (band B), gas, electric; and a fortnightly cleaner.
About me:
Originally from Brighton and miss being by the sea, hence the move to the west coast! I have an Old English Sheepdog, Poppy, who will usually be at the flat when I am. I love jumping around at gigs, swimming in the sea, and skiing down mountains.
About you:
Goes without saying clean and considerate of shared spaces, ideally preferring an uncluttered and tidy home. Looking for longer term rental - could be a student or professional but I'm hoping people will love the place and want to stay for a long time. You must love dogs, as mine will be coming to visit, sometimes my partner's dog too! If you like live music and we can go to gigs together, that's an additional bonus - other than that, I am keen to hear about you!
