Hello everyone!
I'm looking for someone to take over my room in a gorgeous wee 3-bed West End flat. It's situated v close to the Botanic Gardens, 15 minutes walk to the University of Glasgow and 10 mintues to Hillhead/ Kelvinbridge subway stations.
The room is furnished, definitely on the small side but cosy, has a dresser, desk and large wardrobe. There's one shared bathroom, a small but well-stocked kitchen and a large living room with loads of plants, records and books! It's a really lovely old flat and I loved living there, both the room and living room are south facing with lots of light in sunny days:)
You will be sharing with two amazing flatmates - both young professional females in their mid/late 20's. They are looking for someone who's sociable and friendly (introverted is ok tho dw!) who they'll hang out and get along with - not someone just looking for somewhere to crash? Also prefer young professionals or postgrad students.
The area is super quiet and family orientated - it's not a student area - and one of the conditions of our tenancy is being quiet and mindful of the noise. So, while they are looking for someone up for nights out/ going to gigs and pubs, it's defs not a party flat - more of a chilled base to have to have dinner gatherings and movie nights. Pls bear this in mind when considering applying <3 Similarly they are both tidy and clean, and respectful of the space.
Rent is £475pcm excluding bills and council tax, which is band E split equally three ways. Typical bills for the internet, energy and council tax are around £150 but varies on the season. Overall you can expect to pay around £625pcm all in (a bargain in my opinion!).
The deposit is £475.
Your new flatmates have the final say who moves in, both have lived there for a few years and expect you to not stay for the short term. I will officially be moving out on the 20th of April (when your rent is due) but can be flexible from 2nd of April. However I would ask that you contribute to this months rent if you want to move in sooner.
Please reach out if you have any questions,
Thanks
Louis
