An attractive, fully furnished, self-contained studio adjoining the private apartment of a retired gentleman, just a short walk from Rye town centre. Previously used as a carer’s apartment, it offers a comfortable, peaceful home with the choice of complete independence or a more sociable arrangement.

Access and privacy

The studio has its own separate external entrance, reached by a steep steel staircase. Alternatively, access through the adjoining landlord’s apartment may be possible, if preferred and by mutual agreement.

The studio can remain entirely private and self-contained.

Two possible arrangements

Option 1 – from £125 per week, all inclusive. A reduced accommodation charge may be available for a suitable person interested in mutually agreed companionship and/or light domestic assistance. The nature, frequency and terms of any assistance would be discussed and agreed individually before occupation.

Option 2 – £250 per week, all inclusive. Independent occupation of the fully furnished studio, with no companionship, domestic assistance or caring duties expected.

Garden allotment use included.

Students, working professionals, retired people and other considerate applicants are welcome. A respectful, compatible arrangement is more important than any particular age or background.
Please note: the external staircase is steep and may not suit those with mobility difficulties.
