I moved out of the room in this shared flat so I am helping the landlady to find someone to fill the room. This ground-floor flat is located on Montague Street, Newington, which is only a 5-minute walk to the University of Edinburgh George Square campus, and a 15-minute walk to the city centre, as well as many bus routes passing through. The flat is close to many stores and restaurants too so getting groceries or eating out is very convenient.

The room is very big (200 sqft + 25 sqft walk-in closet), with a single bed (bedsheets and duvet cover included), desk, fridge, and two big cupboards. There is also a bookshelf hidden behind a door which makes for great storing space. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with the two other flatmates.

The flat has a total of three rooms but only one is occupied now. The flatmate is a very friendly working young men. He's very respectful and courteous and fun to chat with.

The rent is currently £400 (+£400 deposit), the council tax is roughly £60, and bills are around £50, so the total adds up to about £510 a month.
