*(PROBABLY MAJORITY FLAT TO YOURSELF! At the moment I’m mostly working away from May till possibly Christmas, might be back for a few weeks here and there in mid July/August!)
*
would be extra happy to live with women/queer folk/outdoor climbers - though I’m happy to share a space with any pleasant, respectful person who’s easy going and tidy.
Preferably for a short term, would be happy if someone just wants it from now to end of July even but happy to chat as I am away on a lot of jobs maybe till the end of the year and some of next year.
[ONLY OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS, NO COUPLES, NO FULL TIME REMOTE HOMEWORKERS] Thank you!
THE FLAT & AREA:
Top floor! Stunning Southside, sunny double room on the top floor, awesome views! South facing on a very quiet, leafy street in the much sought-after Shawlands area. Just 5 mins from brilliant bakery, cool music venues (like Glad Cafe) and trendy coffee shops, pubs and restaurants Shawlands is known for and only 3 mins from the beauty of Queens Park.
The flat looks out onto a lovely, quiet hill green if you want to chill or bring your dinner out just out the front door and the other side of the flat has an epic view of the city as the street is on a hill. Super quiet! And no footsteps overhead since we are topfloor (only 2 floors to the building so feels quiet and private). The neighbours are exceptionally nice and very considerate.
MORE ON THE SPACES:
One double room, south-facing, private as looks out onto the green so no other flats with a view in. One shared bathroom (with large bath), kitchen and hang out area with fantastic view looking over the city from beautiful position on a hill, (sunsets are especially awesome!). One utility room with washing machine, there’s wifi, fridge, oven, gas cooker, free street parking available every day of the week, any other q’s let me know:)
Very near buses straight into centre Glasgow, 8-10 min walk from several train stations (langside, crossmaloof closest).
WHO: Hi, I’m Mairi, 31 year old professional, super straightforward & happy to give space to a likeminded, easygoing individual. I work in cultural arts & music and love spending time outdoors rockclimbing/iceclimbing and visiting my family up near the Isle of Skye.
