The lovely double attic room in my mid terrace home in Meersbrook is available from really September. You'd be living with me & my fluffy ginger cat.
I work part-time away from home, part time at home, where I have an office.
There is a sunny, friendly, communal yard with the rest of the terrace and a small back garden with a lawn & plants, surrounded by big trees & nature.
I tread lightly & considerately on the planet. It's important that my lodger is of a similar mind.
The house is tucked away in a quiet spot, at the bottom end of Meersbrook Park. Local cafes are great. It's a friendly and accepting neighbourhood & I'm lucky with my neighbours.
Bus routes are 8 mins walk away on Chesterfield Road and Carrfield Rd.
You'll be sharing the kitchen, living room, bathroom, garden and summer-sunny yard with me & the cat.
Kitchen has a good table to sit around, have friends round for supper or share the occasional cuppa at and the living room is cosy.
Food wise. I eat vegetarian with some fish. My preference is for organic and whole foods.
I'm looking for an easy going, confident lodger who works away from home (most of the time) & has an existing social life.
I've had lodgers for the past 3 years and I can get references :-).
Oh, I have internet, but no TV.
