A quiet, self-contained and well-decorated private attic flat for rent as a lodger, with live-in landlord.

Comprises two large attic rooms, en-suite bathroom with own toilet, bath, and power shower, own access stairs and landing. One room is a double bedroom and the other a lounge/study, which gets lots of sunshine through the day. Rooms well-furnished with bed, desk and chair, plenty of storage and book shelves. Shared use of kitchen, south-facing garden, and main entrance. Utility bills included, with WiFi. Bike storage available in basement.

Quiet, safe and convenient location. Shops, buses, cafes and park within a short walk. The flat would most suit a postdoc, a visiting academic, or a professional - someone who is quiet, clean and tidy, and considerate, who ordinarily does not work from home, and does not work shifts. I am a university academic and live a quiet life, and want to keep a quiet, clean and tidy house. Happy to welcome someone from overseas as I'm interested in cultures and languages.

Ready to occupy from December. Ideally you'd stay for around 6-9 months, or longer if we get on well, though short lets also possible for a negotiated fee. You'll need to provide references and proof of enrollment or employment etc.
