Hi, we are Zoë (they/them) and Liam (they/he). We have a room available in our home in Woodhouse, S13. *Please read the whole ad before contacting*

About the space:
15 mins drive from centre of Sheffield/25 mins bus. Detached house, quiet street, leafy area near nature reserve. Room has a small double bed, a mattress, built-in wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Communal spaces: kitchen, lounge, dining room, downstairs loo, conservatory, garden, upstairs bathroom (you'd be the main user of this, as our room has an en suite). Parking space available.
There is space to work from home most days, not a dedicated office but can use communal areas. Generally a quiet household. We have two hilarious cats, one of whom is a massive flirt 🐈🐈‍⬛️

About us (important):
We would love to live with someone whose values align with ours, even if you don't 'tick' all the boxes below.
We are left wing and vegan. I am a Buddhist. We are both neurodivergent.
As non-binary people, we would prefer to share our home with a woman/non-binary/trans/gender diverse person, however this is not a deal-breaker.
We actively welcome anyone who finds it tricky to find safe spaces.
I'm very sad to say we can't have pets as we already have cats who wouldn't be happy sharing their space.

We are not in a rush to find someone to take the room, it's more about finding the right person. 'Landlord' is a dirty word as far as we're concerned. We're not looking to make a profit from someone's living situation, but are seeing this as an opportunity to share our home and have help with the mortgage. We'd really like to find someone we get on well with and who may want to hang out from time to time, as we have done with our previous lodger, who is now a friend.
