Hi.
I have a huge, bright, and quiet attic room with its own kitchenette and off road parking in the south of Sheffield.
Rent £650 inc all bills and council tax full time or Mon to Fri only £450 inc bills (but not council tax). Virgin broadband is included.
There is car parking available on the drive.
I'm friendly and pretty laid back, but I do like a quiet house.
I live on my own and very occasionally have a friend round for supper so I prefer that lodgers don't bring guests back to the house although having a partner stay over occasionally by agreement wouldn't be a problem.
The room has it’s own staircase with a self closing door at the bottom and is fully furnished with a comfortable double bed, large teacher style pedestal desk with office chair, super comfy leather armchair and footstool and a large walk in wardrobe. The room has its own kitchenette with sink, microwave, hob, kettle and toaster as well as fridge and freezer.
There is a bathroom with a toilet and shower (shared with me) on the first floor.
The attic room is really lovely and fairly newly decorated. There isn't really a shared area as the living room is being used for storage but you are welcome to use my washing machine and dryer.
The house is located on a hillside in a quiet and friendly cul de sac above Meersbrook Park, so no traffic noise. There's a cafe and a great little corner shop at the bottom of the road It's a pleasant area 2 miles from the universities and station and ideal for commuting to Sheffield town centre or to Chesterfield. There's a bus stop at the end of the road that goes into town and the A61 main road is just 1/4 mile away.
There are several excellent pubs and restaurants 3 great gyms and 2 beautiful parks and a couple of local food shops within easy walking distance. I've lived here for 20 years and love it. In 10 minutes drive you can be out in the Peak District.
I'm looking for a quiet lodger who who mainly keeps to themselves (as I do) if you're an extrovert looking for a house share then this probably isn't for you :-)
The minimum let is one month and I'll ask for proof of identity and place of residence in the UK in the form of a passport, bill or driving licence, references and the deposit of £650 plus a months rent paid in advance.
Please message me if you have any questions or you'd like to arrange to view the room.
Cheers, Steph
