Leaving my room in a spacious tidy 4 bedroom flat in Shepherd’s Bush. It’s a friendly flat of professionals who like football and spend time together in the communal spaces and is a great place to live. It is not the top floor of a 3 story building and there is access to a communal basement for storage and outside space as well as a rooftop perfect for sunny days. The street is pleasant and typically neighbours are quiet.
There is ample storage in the flat and a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washer/dryer and a second mini fridge. There are two shared bathrooms with a shower and toilet in both. The flat came unfurnished but most furniture came from the previous flat we lived in so most will be staying in my room/flat.
The flat is a 5 minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush Market, 15 to Shepherds Bush and has easy access to Hammersmith Broadway and the river front.
There are two parks nearby (Ravenscourt and Wormwood Scrubs) as well as a Tesco and Sainsbury’s a 5 minute walk away. There is a larger Lidl 15 minutes as well as Westfield Shopping centre. There are a number of nice bars, restaurants and cafes nearby such as The Hawks Nest and Next Door Records.
Rent is £870 a month and we typically pay £100-£110 a month into a flat account for all bills (WiFi, electric, gas, water, council tax and shared things like loo roll)
The flat is available from mid June-July and the contract runs out at the end of Feb 2027 but can easily be renewed if you wished to stay on. The letting agency is responsive and issues are dealt with swiftly.
This is what is needed from the letting agency:
A Copy of their passport. If they do not hold a British passport, for confirmation purposes, they will also need to provide us with a share code to access the Government website for the right to rent.
3 months Bank Statements
A reference from their current Employer on headed paper stating their full name, length of service and salary.
A reference from their current Landlord on headed paper.
Their full name, email address, telephone number, and current address.
If they are students and don’t meet the financial criteria, they will need a UK Guarantor. We will need the Guarantors full name, address, telephone number, bank statements plus a letter or email confirming that they will cover the costs should the tenant not be able to make payment.
Once approved, we will need a Deposit equivalent to 5 weeks rent - spare
Room would not let
Me put up the 5 weeks rent cost but it’s £1087.5
