Hi there!
I’m looking for a responsible, calm, and clean flatmate to share this lovely 2-bedroom home. This isn’t just a place to sleep, I’ve lived here for 5 years and it truly feels like home. My current housemates have been also here for 5 years and are relocating back to their country of origin hence I’m looking for someone respectful who wants to settle down long-term in a peaceful, cosy environment.
The Flat & Room:
The flat is a top-floor converted flat inside a beautiful Victorian house, situated in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood on Valetta Road.
The Room:
You’ll be taking the slightly larger of the two bedrooms! It’s wonderfully airy and bright, featuring classic Victorian windows that let in plenty of natural light. The room will come unfurnished (meaning no bed, mattress or furniture), which can be a wonderful open canvas for you to style it as you please.
The Space:
There is a super cosy living room to relax in, a fully equipped kitchen, and a shared bathroom.
The Vibe:
The neighbourhood is quiet, the neighbours are incredibly friendly, and the flat itself is a peaceful sanctuary.
The Location & Transport:
Fantastic transport links around Acton Vale.
Good transport links with reliable easy 10 min ride or 20 min walk to Shepherd’s Bush Market, East Acton or Stamford Brook tube station, or Acton central for the Mildmay (overground) line
Excellent convenience: a very nice sized Tesco is just a 3-minute walk away for all your grocery needs, and the flat is close by to Askew Road, a thriving neighbourhood street with cool cafes, bakeries, boutique shops and popular pubs.
The Financials & Logistics:
Rent: £912.50 per month (The total rent is £1,825, split exactly in half).
Bills: Approx. £200/month per person, split equally (covers Ealing Council Tax, Scottish Power energy, Thames Water, broadband, and TV licence). Total all-in monthly cost is max £1,120.
Move-in Date: 26th September (this is when the new rent cycle/contract begins), but happy to extend to 1st of October for the right person.
The Landlord:
We deal with a private landlord, which makes things much more straightforward and personal than dealing with a rigid agency.
About Me & You:
I value a clean, tidy, and quiet living space where we can both unwind after a busy day. I am a relaxed professional (and gay), looking for an equally respectful, calm flatmate.
I am also a smoker myself, but I keep it strictly outside (like in the front courtyard) to keep the flat fresh. I’m totally fine if you smoke too, as long as it's outdoors!
If you are someone who is respectful of shared spaces, clean, and looking for a long-term home rather than a short-term stopover, we will get along perfectly!
If this sounds like the right fit for you, please drop me a message with a little bit about yourself, what you do, and your ideal move-in date. Looking forward to hearing from you!
