The accommodation is Monday to Friday only for one person and is self- contained on the ground floor within our family house. Sunday evening arrival is fine but it is not available 7 days a week. There is a separate door, a good sized double room with standard double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair and own shower room / toilet with underfloor heating. Upstairs is a small kitchen for your sole use with a table and chair, fridge, electric double hob, microwave, sink and all crockery, cutlery etc...There is also an ironing board, kettle and toaster. Feather-free bedding included. The rooms will be cleaned at the weekend and bedding changed alternate weeks. We ask you to provide your own towels.
There is parking for one car and steps down through the garden to the door .
We are a husband and wife plus our son who is at college and we live upstairs in a completely separate part of the house. We have 2 family cats who are both friendly.
The area is very quiet and the room looks out over our garden and woodland. We are 15 minutes walk from Shrewsbury town centre, 10 minutes drive to the Hospital and 20 minutes from University Centre Shrewsbury. The train station is 30 minutes walk.
Sunday evening arrival is also possible by arrangement. The accommodation would suit someone who is independent and self contained. Someone who wants somewhere clean, quiet and comfortable. It would also suit a writer.
