I have a cosy and fully furnished double room available in my 2-bed house, just a 10-minute walk from the town centre. The house comes with a lovely garden and convenient parking.
Key Features:
* Location: In a quiet close only a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Bus route to Harlescott also stops outside property.
* Amenities: built in wardrobe as well as Chest of drawers , Garden, parking, and two toilets (one shared bathroom).
* Let Duration: Ideally looking for a 12-month let as I’ll be abroad living in NZ. Finding the right person is important to me!
Current Housemate:
* Bethany (50): Bethany has lived here for 4 years. She works from home during the day and is often out in the evenings or working on her writing. She’s a great person to hang out and chat with. if you work a 9-5, you’ll have the TV to yourself after work!
She would ideally prefer to live with another woman :)
House Details:
* The house is fully furnished with items belonging to myself and Bethany. I’m a keen cook so you’ll find lots of appliances.
* Looking for an professional easygoing individual who respects the house and its items. It’s a bonus if you can troubleshoot any minor issues, as I may not always be easily reachable due to the time difference!
Utilities:
* I will cover all bills except for gas and electricity, which will be split between you and Bethany. This has been around £80 a month for the past 3 years.
Rent: £550 per month
This room is available from Mid May 2026 (there is some flexibility on this date).
