We’re offering a comfortable double room in a quiet, welcoming home shared with an 86-year-old lady who has limited mobility. The house is peaceful, and the location is central Windsor, close to shops, buses, and local amenities.

She receives two daily nurse visits (morning and early evening) for washing/showering, hygiene support, getting dressed, and preparing breakfast and dinner so main care done.

We’re looking for a female tenant who is:

Naturally friendly and caring and supportive person

Has a good sense of humour

Positive and patient

Comfortable being around an older person

A nurse or carer would be ideal, but this could also suit someone like a retired carer, teacher, support worker, trainee nurse or anyone who genuinely enjoys helping others.
Only apply if this kind of warm, supportive environment genuinely suits your personality and have experience with elderly.

This is not a formal care role, but we’d appreciate occasional light help between nurse visits, such as:

Companionship watching a film together or having a chat now and then

Helping with simple things like reaching the remote, topping up water, or grabbing something from the fridge for her - helping her choose Netflix movie

Picking up a dropped blanket or if she can't reach something

Assisting if her recliner gets stuck

Very occasionally helping her change an incontinence pad during the day if needed (nurses handle her main daily care)

She is gentle, calm, and enjoys friendly company.

About the room & home:

Bright, cosy double bedroom

Upstairs bathroom mainly for the tenant’s use, except when family children visit - elderly lady uses bathroom downstairs

Rent:
The room is normally £650, but we’re offering it for £400 per month in exchange for very light support and companionship as described. It's more to know that there is another adult in house.
