I have a nice single room to rent in my 3-bedroom Victorian terraced house in a quiet street in SW8.
There are excellent Bus, Tube and Train links from very nearby.
The room is a furnished single, with a single bed, and I've arranged it so that there is plenty storage and hanging space. There is additional storage in the roofspace.
I have a small desk to go in it, but equally you would be welcome to use the larger desk in the communal living room.
The bedroom is newly carpeted and painted, and is south facing so it benefits from a maximum of natural light.
The shared living room has everything you would expect - wifi, tv, a desk, sofas etc.
The kitchen is set out for 3 people, so there are 3 fridges, 3 storage cupboards, a freezer with 3 drawers, a new cooker and microwave, a new washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bathroom is newly refurbished and has 3 shelves, 3 towel rails etc.
Everything is made so that each person has their own space.
There is now a lovely Romanian lady living here. She has been here for 2 years already, and she loves being here. She is clean and tidy. That goes without saying, really.
The key word is respect. Previous people who have lived here have all gotten on fine. We're not in each others' pockets, nor are we party animals.
I understand that many people work from home these days, but I would prefer to have someone who goes out to work or Uni.
I am an artist/designer/musician (acoustic!). I will usually be found in my workshop as I keep pretty much to myself. I also often go to France to see my girlfriend, so you would sometimes have the place to yourself.
Ideally, I'm looking for a female - I find it's a better balance F/M in the house. Yin and Yang, I suppose. I would prefer someone in at least their 30s - I've lived and worked with people in their 20s and that's fine also .
The room is available right away, but I'm not in a hurry to get someone in - I'd much prefer to wait for the right person to show up.

Most people have in the past stayed for a number of years, You'll find I'm flexible and accommodating generally.
There is a small garden, more of a patio, really, but I've made an unusual raised seating area, and there's room for the odd barbie. Also it's useful for storing bicycles.
Please check the photos and let me know if you have any questions. I expect a large response (everyone wants to live in this area!) so please be patient.
Take care - keep well.
John.
