Hello Everyone
Myself and my housemate Cara (both 36) are looking for someone to move into our spare room. We are currently living in a 3 bedroom flat and our housemate has just moved out to live with his partner and so we’re looking for someone fun and sociable to fill the room.
The room is unfurnished, but a good size and has access to a large cupboard in the hallway which is spacious enough to store anything needed (our previous housemates used it for his clothes). We have a large open plan living room/kitchen and a small private patio out the back.
We are looking for someone social, we often enjoy cooking together, watching movies, having drinks etc but also respect that we all need privacy. Whilst my housemate and I both smoke we have a strict no smoking in the house policy.
It’s a lovely quiet area, close enough to have all the amenities of Clapham (north/common) and travel links of Stockwell (both less than 0.5miles away or 15min walk). It’s also close to Nine Elms with great travel links to Clapham junction and Brixton also.
Cara and I have known each other for a number of years and we’re looking for someone who will fit in with us well and get along with our interests. Cara works in music finance, she loves gigs and music and we often watch the football together. I work in film and TV and have pretty much every art pass available, I love the theatre and really enjoy cooking and trying new things.
All the furniture and things in the house belong to us, there is ample storage space should you need it. We have a coffee maker, air fryer, rice cooker etc that you are more than free to use plus a nice sofa and tv set up for those lazy days.
We have super fast internet (we often remote work from home so always make sure it’s capable of dealing with that), we have a weekly cleaner who is absolutely wonderful and keeps the place spotless (we maintain it throughout the week). Due to the building being a new build, it’s extremely well heated and keeps the bills costs down, our council tax works out roughly to be £65pp and if any problems arise there is a property service who will fix and sort anything with no extra cost.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
