Large double room with private bathroom in an owner-occupied home, 5 minutes from Tooting Broadway (Northern Line) and 2 minutes from St George’s Hospital.
The double room is bright with excellent storage.
- Queen-size ottoman bed, large 5-door wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables
- Approx. 3.6 x 3.21m (11’8” x 10’6”)
- Private bathroom next to the room (I have my own en-suite)
- Direct access to the garden via a spiral staircase, which I don’t use
The house is set over three floors - open-plan living/dining space, recently fitted new kitchen/integrated appliances, a separate office/second reception room suitable for working from home, garden and roof terrace.
Cleaner included (4 hours per week), she changes sheets/bedding.
Two young indoor male cats, so looking for someone comfortable living with pets. They currently have access to the whole property and may be active at night. If you’d prefer not to have them in your room, the door can be kept closed. Friendly, affectionate and well socialised — a lovely part of the home. No additional pets ideally, but may consider one neutered cat.
Looking for a professional or mature/postgraduate student who is tidy, respectful and independent.
Single occupancy preferred. May consider a couple at a higher rent.
On-street parking available via permit.
A friend occasionally stays in one of the spare rooms when working in London — usually for a few days every 6 weeks or so, fairly infrequent.
