Upstairs rear double bedroom in a 4-bedroom house with beautiful views across Daws Heath.

The room has double glazing and central heating and is furnished with a small double bed, bedside drawers, larger chest of drawers, hanging space, under-bed storage, table lamp and chair. (additional electric heaters are not permitted).

The house is a friendly, calm professional home. We’re sociable but also value our own space and routines, so this would suit someone mature, easy-going and considerate who works outside the home. Mon–Fri preferred.

Looking for someone settled, comfortable in their own company, and respectful of shared spaces.

Shared bathroom and separate WC.

Access to laundry facilities but no tumble dryer. Broadband. Allocated fridge and cupboard space (very limited freezer space).

Excellent transport links to London, Southend and the Airport. On-street parking nearby, no parking at the house.

The house is currently occupied by me, another lodger (downstairs) and one of my adult children. We all work.

We usually have a family gathering on Sundays (often dinner, sometimes lunch) and would prefer sole use of the kitchen/diner during that time. At most other times the kitchen/diner is available.

We have a cat, Luna, who has the run of the house (not bedrooms with closed doors).

Occasional cigarette smoking permitted outside only.
