Hello!
I'm looking to fill a spare room in my flat on the iconic Parkleys estate, built in the mid-50s. The flat is open, spacious and with huge windows allowing lots of natural daylight. The flat is situated in beautiful communal gardens, designed to bring people together, making it a lovely community.
There's lots of peace and quiet, as it backs straight onto woodland, less than a kilometre from Richmond Park, whilst still being close enough to central London and local pubs for less quiet activities.
It's nestled between Kingston and Richmond, meaning there's good transport links to central London, out to Surrey and out West.
There's a lovely big living room, kitchen, entrance hall/utility room, bath and shower and the bedroom is a decent size for a double bed with a large built in wardrobe and bookshelf.
I'm a 30 year old civil servant with a whole bunch of different hobbies. They're mostly centred around playing outside, reading books, or doing something with my hands! I'm in the office at least 4 days a week, but I'm often around at the weekend.
It's my own flat, recently renovated, so I keep it clean and tidy and any issues will be fixed immediately! You're welcome to decorate and personalise the room, and I'm happy to help.
If you have pets, we can discuss via message. The leasehold agreement has some restrictions which means it's not so straightforward.
We can make space for bikes and (almost) anything else you need storing, so let's discuss.
Flat is available to move in right away, though I'd like to meet anyone before any move as it's just the two of us!
The rental price is for the room and includes the building's service charge. Other bills are additional.
As a rough guide (below are all the full cost, which we'll split in 2):
Gas & electric (usually £40 in summer, £80-90 in winter)
Internet (£30)
Water (approx £30/month, billed quarterly)
Council tax band D (£198/month)
Sorry, the room is no longer available
