We have a beautiful, light-filled double room becoming available in our newly refurbished Victorian home. The room is on the first floor and comes fully ready for a smooth move-in, featuring a fitted wardrobe, plenty of bookshelf space, and a dedicated workspace with an ergonomic chair—perfect if you work from home occasionally!

The house itself is huge and spread over three floors. We have:

Common Spaces: A modern, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, plus a separate, living room for relaxing. Three modern bathrooms across the house including one right beside the room

The Garden: A lovely back garden which is great during the summer months.

The Location: We’re tucked away in a quiet spot but perfectly connected. You’re just a 7-minute stroll from both Balham Station (Northern Line) and Wandsworth Common (National Rail). Whether you want the buzz of Balham High Street or the "village" feel of Bellevue Road and the greenery of the Common, everything is right on your doorstep.

Our Household
We are a friendly, mixed group of professionals ranging from our 20s to 40s working in tech, bio-tech, real estate and consulting. We’re a friendly and social bunch who enjoy catching up over a glass of wine or a coffee in the kitchen, but we all lead busy lives and fully respect each other’s downtime and the need for a calm, clean and peaceful home.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- A fellow professional with a "settled" outlook and who has been in flatshares

- Clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces.

- Inclusive and kind (we are a LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and pet-free home).

The Details

Rent/Deposit: 1 week's rent in advance and a 4-week deposit.

Bills: Roughly £100–£120 per month (includes gas, electricity, water, high-speed broadband, Council Tax, and a regular cleaner for the communal areas).
