Welcome to our home! If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a calm, cared-for home than a typical house share, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re a male/female married couple who’ve lived here for the past 5 years and absolutely love the area. Due to caring responsibilities elsewhere, we’re now only in London around 1–2 nights a month for work, which means this is quite a unique setup for someone looking for a peaceful, spacious, cared for home, without the usual “live-in landlord” feeling.

We’re looking for a clean, respectful, and easygoing person to enjoy the space and make themselves at home.

The room:
A light, bright, and spacious double room in a lovely 3-bedroom house in Seven Sisters. The house is modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated throughout, with a cosy, homely feel rather than your typical rental. There’s also a private garden which is perfect in the warmer months.

We keep one small room for ourselves which doubles as a work-from-home office when we’re not there, if you'd like to use it. We sometimes come alone (usually Hattie, the wife, for walk) but occasionally together for family events etc.

Location:
The house is just a 5-minute walk from Seven Sisters Underground and Overground station (Victoria Line), making it incredibly easy to get into central London. Highbury and Islington is just 2 stops away and the location is an increduble high point.

You’re also within walking distance of Finsbury Park, Green Lanes, and Stoke Newington, with loads of great cafés, pubs, restaurants, parks, and local spots nearby.

A bit about us:
We’re chilled, creative people who love music, festivals, comedy, eating out, sports, and long walks with our dog (who occasionally visits with us but isn’t around often!). We’ve previously had two housemates here and it’s always been a really easy, relaxed setup. We’ll always give you a heads up before we’re staying over.

A few extra details:
• Visitor Permits available via residents’ permit for cars
• Council tax, ground rent, and service charge included
• Utilities not included - you will need to cover water, electricity and gas, and wifi
• Happy to provide references from previous housemates

One room is available now in the 3-bed house, and another room may be available soon as our other housemate is buying somewhere. Ideally, if you already have a friend looking for a place too, that would be amazing! Feel free to message and we can send over details/photos of the second room as well.

Ideally looking for people who want longer term lets, than quick moves. Sorry!
