The lovely couple we have been living with is moving out to get their own flat, so we're looking for two new people to rent a room in our very friendly 4-bedroom flat in N15!
Students and professionals welcome. LGBTQ friendly, Non-smoking flat. Couples are welcome but only if taking both rooms.
The bills are currently around £120 and include council tax (band D), internet, water, gas, and electricity. The rooms are both on the first floor and have big windows and lots of natural light.
One (with the green floral bedding) is rather small (6.8 sqm), but as you can see from the photos, it can fit everything you need. The room can come furnished (the bed, clothes rail and the hutch with a fold out table) or unfurnished. The rent for this is £473 per month, plus the bills.
The second room is the largest in the flat (12.7 sqm) and comes unfurnished. However, our flatmate is happy to discuss leaving some items if desired. The rent for this room is £603 per month, plus the bills.
About the flat:
We have a living room, a kitchen, a utility room with a washer and a dryer, a small bathroom, and a separate toilet. We also have a little garden where we grow a few things and have wonderful BBQs in the summer. The flat has a loft for storage and a small shed where you could keep a bike!
Location:
2minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. About 15-20minutes from tube stations Manor House, Turnpike Lane, and Seven Sisters (Victoria and Piccadilly lines). About 15 minutes walk to Harringay Green Lanes overground.
2minutes walk to Chestnuts Park
We are on a very quiet street, but still very close to lots of restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets.
About us:
- Me (female, 31), German. I'm an interior designer and work full-time in the office. I love cooking, reading, cycling, tennis, and playing board games. Very sociable and easy to live with.
- Connor (male, 29), British. He works partly from home and partly from uni, as he started a PhD a few months ago. He's super friendly and outgoing and loves cycling, cooking, and travelling.
We get along very well. We love to play board games and tennis together, but we also enjoy doing our own things, especially during the week. We are both vegan and want our new flatmates to be vegan as well, so please only apply if that is the case.
We have a cleaning rota that works very well for us and always keeps the flat clean. We take turns every weekend, and there's never any drama, so we'd like to keep that system! We are totally ok for you to have family, friends, or partners over, but it's not a party house, and we're looking for someone who's happy to keep it quiet, especially during the week. :)
There is a little bit of flexibility with the move-in date, so if you need to move in earlier or a few days later, we can talk about it.
