Hi there 👋
I'm looking for a friendly lodger to share my home with me. I'm open to both short or longer term and flexible on start date so just let me know what you're looking for and we can talk it through.
*The room*
Very large double room overlooking the back garden. The bedroom is big enough so you can also enjoy it as a personal relax/lounge space if you ever just want a bit of down time. There is currently a chest of drawers and a wardrobe can be added if desired.
*The office*
Separate to your bedroom, you will also have your own large office for your exclusive use or even if you just want to use it as some personal space outside of your bedroom.
*The house*
It's a pretty big Victorian house so will be plenty of space for us both. We have a shared bathroom, lounge, kitchen and second/downstairs loo. Just like you, I have my own office as I work from home. Ample off road parking on the drive if you have a car. There's a large peaceful garden. The house is pet and smoke free. I have a weekly cleaner for both communal rooms and bedrooms. All bills included such as utilities, broadband, council tax, water and weekly cleaner.
*The area*
The large Victorian house is on a quiet leafy street just 6 mins walk from Davenport station with frequent trains direct to Piccadilly in one direction and to the Peak District in the other 🥾🏞️. Regular buses (or a 30 mins walk) to Stockport centre. Davenport itself has a handy high street as well Lidl and Morrisons a short drive (or 30 mins walk) away.
*About me*
I'd like to think I'm friendly and enjoy a nice chat of an evening but also respect people's privacy. So a housemate who is happy doing their own thing but also is open to a bit of social time would be great. I work from home and in my spare time like cooking, playing badminton and walking in the Peak District.
