Double Room to Rent – Peaceful Home in Heaton Chapel
I'm a 41-year-old live-in landlord looking for a respectful, reliable, and easygoing person to rent a double room in my home.
The room has recently been decorated and is currently unfurnished, although furnishing can be discussed if required. The house is comfortable and well maintained, with a lovely garden and outdoor space to the rear. Some areas have also been updated since the current photos were taken.
I enjoy a calm lifestyle and value peace, privacy, and mutual respect within the home. I'm friendly and approachable while also respecting people's independence and personal space. I'm quite easygoing and enjoy a calm, relaxed home environment. I respect people's privacy and independence, but I'm not looking for a house where everyone hides in their rooms. It's nice to be able to have a chat, get along well, and create a friendly atmosphere while still respecting each other's space. Out of work, I enjoy keeping fit, hiking, travelling, volunteering and spending time outdoors.
I work full-time during the week and have an 8-year-old child who stays with me occasionally at weekends, so I'm looking for someone considerate, mature, and respectful of the home environment. When at home, I tend to spend much of my time upstairs in my own space, whether working on personal projects, volunteering activities or other interests. As a result, the living room and downstairs areas are generally quiet and available for shared use.
Ideally, I'd like to begin with an initial three-month arrangement to ensure it's a good fit for both of us, with the possibility of extending longer term.
