Two bedroom two bathroom Abbeville Village garden flat, w/ gated parking

On a beautiful, tree-lined avenue in a very desirable area. You can definitely feel at home and safe yet near everything you might want/need. Well, almost - no mountains or beach!

Peaceful, safe neighbourhood day and night. Lit gated, offstreet parking available if needed (cost TBD with neighbour).

The room:
Fully furnished with solid wood double bed, 1.5x mirrored wardrobe, and antique Chinese chest (can swap for modern drawers). Private bathroom with bath and shower.

Comfy lounge with plenty plants, double doors open onto patio & private garden. A further lawn beyond hedges is basically ours as neighbour doesn’t use. Perfect for sunny morning coffees/teas, or afternoon-evening barbecue/dinner/garden party in the sun! Or just reading and relaxing.

Superfast broadband throughout.

Chefs kitchen layout with dishwasher, oven, large fridge-freezer (all Bosch stuff), washing machine, microwave... nutribullet...:D other timesavers! Dining area has table that extends for up to 8+ people.

Me: Scottish, 41, work in sport & social impact. Love being out and active (sport, yoga, keeping fit) plus love music/occasional gigs and adventure-travel. Enjoy art and comedy - need to make more time!

My GF and friends say I’m thoughtful, generally tidy and clean but not OCD / OTT. Happy to have and give own space and time, but enjoy a chat / being sociable together when it suits. Am now good friends with past lodgers/flatmates male and female.

Looking for a flatmate who...

* works 3 to 4 days/wk NOT from home (I WfH 2-3 days/wk)

* is relaxed but reliable, considerate and takes care of their home

* up for the occasional dinner party, garden barbecue or just being sociable. (But also happy to have their own space and time)

Please describe yourself and a typical week/month? And share your profile link, thanks!

Sam

PS:
Am open to switching, so you could have the master/larger room with true en-suite but this would be £150 more per month. My preference would be to stay put or at least that we wait few months to switch so that the new lodger/you are comfortable that the flat, fit, location, commute etc is good for you, and you want to commit to staying long term.

Location/transport
A permanent closed road on one side means our area is very peaceful for London (very little through traffic). YET
two bus stops about a minute's walk away take you to Clapham-proper or Brixton in 5 mins; Herne Hill 10-15; Battersea/Sloane Square 15 / 20.
