Hello :)

We have 1 room available in a 3 bed flat from 24th July!

The flat is situated a 5 min walk from Stoke Newington station and the room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk and built in wardrobes.

You’ll be living with Rosie, queer, 34. I work in film and tv so my working week is very chill in the evenings but the weekends I’m more upbeat and enjoy exploring the joys of London. On my time off, I enjoy camping and foraging.

You’ll also be living with Daniel, queer, 44. I work managing teams and venues in an arts centre. My work schedule varies but is predominantly evenings and weekends. At home I’m pretty chill, although always up for a get together or movie night and do have a tendency to sing in the shower! I often disappear for a week here and there to look after cats and dogs, as in some circles I’m known as the pet whisperer.

We’re both easy going, open minded people and eager to find a like minded housemate who will help keep the flat a happy and peaceful place. Generally into a mix of film, art, cycling, music, drinking tea, board games and outdoor activities. We like to spend time together by watching films, charity shopping or a grabbing a pint locally.

Location is ace, it’s a stone’s throw to Dalston and the surrounding pubs and shops all have a great vibe. Seven Sisters is the other way and you’re straight onto the Viccy line. We’re just off the main road so buses are frequent and you can get into the city swiftly. We’ve got a bunch of nice parks and canals near by and Church Street is always a nice stroll.

The room is £800 plus bills on top, which are generally maybe £100-150 each. Gas is on a top up card which we top up at the post office round the corner. It was a monthly rolling contract but now is the new government 2 months notice. Hackney council tax band B. There’s no agency so no hassle with paperwork and contract malarkey. The landlady lives nearby and is super attentive to all our needs should we ever need her.

The flat is situated in an apartment block on the second floor with no lift so isn't ideal for accessibility needs I'm afraid.

Living room has a large sofa and table and chairs, the kitchen is a little small but its manageable if cooking times are staggered or we’re on different schedules.

Separate toilet and a bathroom with shower/bath.

Parking is available at the flat once you’ve applied for a permit.

LGBTQI+ and allies actively encouraged.

Deposit per tenant is £400. To secure the room you will need to pay the deposit up front.

Viewings available immediately!

Any questions, we’ll be happy to help 🙂
