Room 1 is MASSIVE studio room which is actually made up of two adjoining rooms - a large bedroom and your own personal live/work space. If you work from home thats fine.
So just to be clear you get a large double bedroom with a four poster bed, a large cabinet and drawers, dressing table, clothes rail - plus a sitting room area with a huge double sofa bed (occaisional guests are welcome) dining table/desk, plus armchair.
You get a FULL SIZE modern bathroom with a wonderful double ended bath, heated towel rail and marble floors with an 'opium den' vibe. If you're cool to share it with one other thats great; if not, thats somethign we can sort out.
Taken together, this is bigger than most london flats. But there is more:
On top of all that you get a second large communal sitting area with two sofas and two charming cats (balinese) to make it feel cosy. You share this with just one other person.
There is also a quiet hidden large shared outdoor patio for sunny mornings yoga etc.
So basically you're getting a huge amount of space in a very central position. The space is 'shabby chic' and was once an art gallery and party venue.
There is a shared kitchen upstairs, which you share with two (occaisionally three) others.
The only downside is that it is on the lower ground floor and therefore has limited light - so if you want a huge bright sunny window with views this is not for you.
Clerkenwell is a great area - very central, but quiet at weekends, with loads of local pubs, restaurants, clubs, gyms and independent stores. Walk to the river, west end or city in 15-20 mins. Farringdon station (tube and overground) is just 5 mins away.
