Everything is provided for a hassle-free move, and for a comfortable stay, while saving you money too.

Who will you live with.
A lovely French exchanged science and maths student in her 20s, who will move in on the 31st of January. Her energy, transparency and vibe is a blessing including her focus on cleanliness being non negotiable.
I am a Black British-born, Afro-Caribbean, middle-aged, experienced landlady, who is calm. kind, caring, respectful, honest, trustworthy and very respectful of my lodgers need for space and privacy. I am told I have a wicked sense of humour, and of course my ego is prone to digging my own vibe. lol and joking? : ). I am very creative and had a little play showcased in 2018 and continue to write as I seek new employment opportunities, but will also be studying to become a psychotherapist at The Institute For Arts In Therapy & Education. part time in September 2026. Therefore I will be busy working and studying. However, I am also open to cook and share meals, movie nights, share a drink or two, and/or conversations when time allows and the mood suits, to create a positive social vibe for my lodgers to interact with each other, if this is what they want. I have my own social life. : )
What I am looking for in a Lodger
Someone who is responsible, trustworthy, honest, respectful, considerate, cleans up after themselves, clean habits, and sensitive to others needs and respectful of other cultures and differences. I am heterosexual, and my home is open to anyone who I consider to be a good fit to share my home with. My previous lodger, now a friend has a mature dog ( 9kg Lancashire heeler) and she will come visit and may on the odd ocassion here and there, visit, stay over a night or few a couple times a year. This is due to the unbreakable bond developed when she live with me. She is clever, has the sweetest temperate with a joyous engaging cheeky personality. So someone who either love dogs or can happily accept them. Her owner is Italian, takes exceptional care of her, and makes some yummy Italian dishes, that will be a treat for you too. There's the bribe. lol : 0)
How many lodgers will I share with?
There will never be more than two lodgers at any time. I am usually very successful at choosing people who I consider will get along well with me and anyone else sharing my home, to keep the good vibes rolling : ) The only time I have got it wrong is when I let my heart rule my head, no more. : )
Health & Safety, Gas and Electric compliance at viewing.
Also, can contact house insurance for any plumbing, heating, etc. breakdowns in my absence.
Contracts/Deposit/Rent
Contracts are provided, and the deposit is returned upon your vacating and returning the keys. Rooms are available now. January. Cost: £750 Single and £850 Double or two rooms for one person only, at £ 1,400. I am happy to customise the single room to your personal living room, rather than the room shown. This means you are sharing only with me. Note, Short stays up to 3 months I will need to charge £100 more.
The cul-de-sac is very warm, friendly, and usually quiet and very well-maintained. My home is suited to those who want a calm, clean, safe and warm place to positively chill, and you will never have to worry about heating. : )
If you are interested, please say a little about yourself, especially if you have not got an ad.
Kindly note, that I will not be able to arrange a viewing without speaking with you first, and will need to check that you have a legal right to live, work, and study here, also at the viewing stage.
Can't wait to meet you, whoever you are. : )
Thanks a lot.
