As featured by Dartmouth Today
Hello everyone! My name is Camila and I am 29 years old. I recently bought a two bedroom flat and I am looking to rent the second room out.
About me
I’m Italian-Colombia (very random I know!). I moved to the UK 6.5 years ago (time flies!!) and I work for a bank in Canary Wharf, I go to the office 3 days per week and WFH the rest of the time. I have a 9-5 schedule with free weekends and I would like to find someone with a similar lifestyle.
I'm down to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally watch a show together, share a meal and some yummy Pimm’s!
I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I'm open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized or pay for a cleaner. I have lived in a few shared accommodations and I know communication is crucial to have a great relationship. I like hosting and having people over for a chat or a movie, but I also very much enjoy and cherish my alone time .
My biggest passions are hiking, scuba diving and hanging out with friends. I would like to find someone that wants to feel “at home” in this flat as much as I do.
About the flat
The flat is lovely (granted I am bias). It is a top floor with lots of natural light. The living room is very spacious and so is the kitchen. The bedroom is a standard double bed with one built in closet, an additional freestanding wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a double bed. Plenty of storage for suitcases. I am happy to provide a duvet as I have a spare one.
The flat is currently being renovated (plastering and painting) as such I haven’t talken any pictures, but I am happy to give you a tour in person during the weekend of after work in the evening. The flat has double glazed brand new sash windows and is very silent, perfect for working from home. It is located exactly between Streatham and Streatham Common train stations (7-8 min walk) with excellent links to London Bridge, Victoria and CW!
There are 3 very big supermarkets all walking distance and the common is also a 5 min walk.
The room is being rented for £800 plus bills. Bills vary depending on the month, but I would estimate around £150 per month!
