We have a sunny double room available in our maisonette, only a few minutes’ walk to STREATHAM HILL station or a busy bus stop with frequent buses to BRIXTON, CLAPHAM and beyond. 1 train stop from BALHAM.
Flatmates (Us):
Tom & Rachel. Both professionals. Rachel works from home 2-3 days/week. Both pretty active and busy - but do appreciate a calm morning enjoying the view of the garden. Keen on solid, kind communication.
You can expect:
Warm, respectful flatmates. A flat that is a home, but not precious about rules and routines. Friendly neighbours. Wifi*, bit of peace, bit of music. Always pleased to put on a pot of tea.
Flatmate? (You):
Social, but appreciates quiet time. Live your life (extra cool if you have hobbies) and need a home and a base. We are responsible, considerate, and open-minded people, who wants the house to be a home and will treat the house and housemates with respect.
The Flat:
3 bedrooms flat split over two floors, with a 4th spare room, which has further shared space. Shared living room, separate kitchen and bathroom with bath, and a second separate toilet. Double glazed throughout.
Your room will be on the upper floor and comes furnished with double bed, mattress, and wardrobe. Hard wood floors.
Building / communal gardens are maintained by our very friendly caretaker, Jimmy. We get gorgeous sunsets and there’s lots of wildlife.
Flat is homely and relaxing, and gets lots of light as it overlooks communal gardens (as opposed to a noisy road!) Living room is now full of plants and homey touches - we'll take more photos and send / update!
Decorated in pale/neutral colours throughout. The flat is part of a 1940’s building set back from the main road and has a nice community feel with friendly neighbours. There are parking facilities (you’d need to apply, pay, organise but it is available), bike racks and a barbecue area in the garden.
RENT is £635 pm payable by direct debit to the landlord, who we have a direct relationship with. Bills (gas/electric, water, council tax, and internet) around £150 pm and split between flatmates.

Streatham High Road is a couple of minutes walk away with plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, gyms, cinema, parks, everything a stone’s throw from home, and the vibrant bars & restaurants of Brixton and Clapham Common close by.
There are buses every few minutes to Brixton tube station (10 mins), Clapham North (20mins) and into Central London or Crystal Palace. Streatham Hill train station is a 5 minute walk, with frequent trains to Clapham Junction (9mins), Victoria (18mins), West Croydon (22mins) and London Bridge (35mins).
