Hi, I'm leaving my room on 28th July to move with my girlfriend.
I have 2 housemates - Dan and Jordan - who are both 28 yo and originally from outside London. None of us knew each other from before, but we quickly found a good dynamic and became friends who sometimes go to the restaurants and invite each other to the plans we have. Nonetheless, this doesn't keep us from also enjoying moments on our own.
The house has a really good location for daily tasks: Streatham station, bus stops, M&S, Aldi, Tesco and the gym are all 5 minutes away by walk from the house, next to each other, as well as near to Streatham Common which is 3 minutes away by walk.
2 train lines go through Streatham station (Thameslink, Southern) which allow you to go central in 30/40 minutes. The buses that go through Streatham go to all the neighbourhoods around in 20 minutes (Clapham Common, Tooting Bec, Tooting Broadway, Balham, Brixton...).
The house is modern and comfortable, the agency in charge of the house is responsive and the landlord hasn't increased the rent since I've moved there 2 years ago. Also, it has a shared garden 🙂 (check last picture).
