Looking for someone to rent a spare room in my semi-detached 3-bedroom house in Norbury / Pollards Hill.
The room is a large double (approx. 4.9m x 3.4m) with plenty of built-in storage, a new mattress and bed frame, and extra storage under the bed. The house sits on a hill, so the room has a really nice open view.
We’re around a 12 minute walk to Norbury station. There’s no dedicated parking space, but free on-street parking is available and it’s easy to find a spot as there aren’t many houses on the road and it's a quiet street in general.
The house is right by Pollards Hill Park, which is great if you like being near green space. There’s also a sunny south-west facing garden with side access, handy for bikes and general use.
Inside, downstairs there’s a separate lounge, dining room, kitchen, and a downstairs loo. Upstairs we’d share the main bathroom between the two of us, which has both a bath and a shower. Most of the radiators in the house are newly fitted, including the one in the bedroom, so it’s warm and comfortable.
The house is fully furnished. I’ve got all the TV channels, Sports and subscriptions (Netflix, Prime, Sky, Apple etc) and the kitchen has a dishwasher and Ninja air fryer.
A bit about me: I’m 31 and work fully remote for a tech start-up, where I’ve been for the last four years. I moved into the house in October 2025 and use the third, smaller bedroom as my office.
Outside of work I’m into sport, tennis, jogging, cooking, and travelling (recently back from three weeks in Goa, India over New Year). I also enjoy pub trips, nights out in London, and heading back to the family home to see my spaniel, Maya. I’m clean, respectful, fairly relaxed, and looking for someone similar who’s easy to live with.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m planning to spend more time on the garden and generally improving the house. I’m very open to someone making the space feel like their own too - bonus points if you’re good with house plants or have an eye for interior design, but absolutely not a requirement.
Rent is £820 per month, all bills included.
If it sounds like it could be a good fit, feel free to get in touch with a bit about yourself and roughly when you’d be looking to move in, and we can organise a time to meet.
