Three lockdowns have wrecked havoc on our flatmate search, but we're optimistic that we'll find a great person to fill our spare room.
You will be living with Jael 36 (she/her, cishet), teacher, and Thanyia 37 (she/her, cis/bi), comedienne, actor, fitness instructor. We're both South Londoners, left of centre and love good food.
This is a spacious three bedroom flat so we are looking for one more person to join our happy home. No preference of gender.
The room has a double bed, a double mattress, a four door floor-to-ceiling fitted wardrobe, a long 6-drawer chest and two 6 cube storage units with drawers. There is a full height walk in closet in addition to the wardrobes so plenty of storage place for your belongings.
There is a large window which lets in a lot of light and plenty of floor space for additional furniture. Your room faces away from the main road and overlooks the carpark, but as we are on the second floor, you have a beautiful row of trees and a decent view into a neighbouring garden which is delightful. You'll get the morning sunlight and peace and quiet.
All bills (Council Tax, TV Licence, water, electricity, gas, a weekly cleaner and high-speed fibre broadband) are included in the price of the rent.
There is a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fan oven, gas hob, fridge freezer with individual shelves and compartments and of course individual kitchen cabinets.
We also have a weekly cleaner who cleans all of the communal areas! You'll be expected to chip in to buy household items (toilet paper, kitchen roll, cleaning supplies, washing up liquid etc) as and when they run out. This hardly ever tops £20 every 4-6 weeks. The flat pretty much runs itself and is a joy to live in.
If you drive we have secure off-street parking.
We are hopeful that you will be friendly, able to clean up after yourself without prompting, be mindful of others personal space and property and enjoy food as much as we do.
This is a proud LGBTQIA+, BBIPoC and Neurodivergent friendly home. You should be anti-racist and not a homophobe or transphobe.
It'll be nice to have the occasional glass of wine, chat and dinner in the evening but we both have our own separate lives and are often quite busy. Friends, family and overnight guests are welcome. But this is not a party house.
If you are interested, send over a message with a bit about yourself and let's arrange a viewing.
