Hello,
This is a comfortable furnished double room (looking over the garden and fields), in a family home which you will share with myself, my son and our cat and with my boyfriend and his little dog, when he visits( mostly at the weekend).

There is a large shared sitting room with a wood burner; a large kitchen ( both rooms have french doors to the garden); a utility room, and a wet room. Upstairs there is a family bathroom with a bath. The garden has lovely views over the neighbouring fields in the back and over the church and tithe barn in the front, and there is a garage if you need to store a bike. There is off road parking for a car and more parking on the street.
It's not all state of the art, but I would hope to say it is homely. I work and see people from home so it needs to be quiet during the day, so probably better if you go to work or college away from home. My son wants an apprenticeship long term, but currently is just looking for a local job.

Taunton is 20 minutes drive (8 miles) ; Wellington is 10 minutes ( 6 miles); Tiverton is 40 minutes ( 19 miles); Exeter is 45 minutes (30 miles) and Minehead/ Watchet are about 35 minutes (15 miles ).
Fitzhead is a peaceful, rural village with lots of walks around. Having said that, it is pretty sociable, offering various craft and exercise classes and a pop up pub in the Tithe barn which is opposite the house, But you don't have to join in if it's not your thing!
Our nearest shop is in Milverton ( 2 miles); or if you fancy a takeaway/restaurant/choice of pubs, shops ( health food, coop, butchers and cafes) and a library, film club and an outdoor pool, then Wiveliscombe is 3 miles away. Wellington (6 miles) offers a broader range of supermarkets, petrol stations and mechanics, places to do evening classes etc.

We want you to know that we are friendly, but also happy doing our own thing, and will respect your privacy too. Mostly home is where we relax and unwind.

We're pretty laid back, past tenants have stayed over a year, and are still friends!
