About me: I moved to Devon a few years ago from London and love it here. I work as a teaching assistant. I’m into health/wellbeing, nature-connection, foraging, Buddhism, cycling, dancing (especially conscious dance), saunas... The list goes on! I’m pretty sociable, chatty, and extroverted. And also more of an alternative being. Sometimes I'm home a fair bit, and other times I'm out and about more.

I eat meat and do make bone broth fairly regularly, which I'm saying now, as it can be a strong smell to some noses! I buy as organic and local as I can.

About the house/area:

Quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. House is up a big hill, and there are amazing views of the water up here. I find people in Teignmouth down-to-earth and very friendly. It's a smallish town, but there's a decent amount going on here.

I moved here a year ago and hit a wall with doing the place up, so it is in need of further beautifying (like redecorating, and some shelves & pics putting up!). I intend to get back onto that over the next few months. If you are someone who likes to put your personal touch on a home, and wish to get involved in this, then great, but no obligation. I welcome this as it is nice way for the home to feel like a shared space. (I'm fairly community-oriented - I have lived in various communities over the years - which influences the way I approach my living situation and how I am as a landlord).

The house has a spacious living room, a separate kitchen (also spacious for a two-bed house), front and back gardens, a little study, and one bathroom.

The two bedrooms are similar sized. I might switch bedroom so have included pics of both.

Looking for: I would like to live with someone who is friendly, sociable, easy-going, and considerate. Someone up for semi-regular dinners/hangouts/movie nights etc. I respect the need for alone time at home, but I'm not suited to living with reclusive types who spend most of their time in their rooms.

As I'm pretty clean and tidy myself, I’m looking to live with someone who cares for their home and likes their environment to be clean and tidy (without the need for spotlessness).

Ethical/non-toxic consciousness around household products would also be appreciated.

Rent includes bills.
