In beautiful green Abbey Wood, in the borough of Greenwich, in South East London, in a residential area, in a well-loved, clean, comfortable and well-looked after flat, I have two rooms available for rent until the end of June 2026. Preferably I would like to rent out the two rooms together, and I will give a discount for that, you can have both rooms together, for £1300. However I can consider individual applications too. The smaller room is suitable for a single person for £700 (although officially it is classified as a 'double' room), the larger room could be rented either by a single person for £800 or by a couple (but if a couple rents it, there is an extra charge of £100/month). Price includes all bills, the Council Tax and the internet too. Your windows overlook an ancient forest. If only one person rents out both rooms, one of the rooms can be used as a living room. The flat is exceptionally quiet, mostly all you hear is bird song. Peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The medium-size kitchen is used as a dining room too. The kitchen is well equipped, cooker, oven, fridge and freezer, washing machine & a small dishwasher, microwave, saucepans etc. - you can use it all. There is a good quality shower in the bathroom, in addition to, and above the bath. The flat is on the second floor, and there is no lift. Nearby there are several forests, excellent for walking and running. Would be ideal for a couple, or two friends, or a couple and their friend. Just ten mins walk from the flat you can find the famous one thousand years old Lesnes Abbey ruins, with a well-kept park, Cafeteria and a Community Centre (yoga classes, art & craft fairs, Farmers' Market etc). This area is becoming increasingly popular, and there is a new large Cultural Centre at Woolwich. We are in the borough of Greenwich, not far from the historic Greenwich Park and Greenwich Village, with all it's diverse cultural opportunities, theatre, cinema, jazz bar, restaurants etc. If shopping is important for you, there is a large Sainsbury, Tesco and Lidl nearby. Abbey Wood has excellent transport links: it has an underground and several train lines. It is the South East Terminal of the new Elizabeth Line, which takes you to Central London in 20 minutes. Trains can take you to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross Stations in Central London, but also to South East England, including the seaside. There are also many buses, and a night bus, which stops just four minutes away from my house. From nearby Woolwich you can take a boat to Central or West London, which is a really lovely experience. Abbey Wood has direct links to Luton and Heathrow Airports. "London's Best Kept Secret, Abbey Wood"- is the title of my video about the area which you can check on YouTube. Strictly no smoking in the flat and in the building. Please note, I only rent out to private individuals, if you work for an agency (or corporate or supporting housing provider), please do NOT respond. But if you are a private individual looking for renting, and you either work or study and can provide a reference, please feel free to contact me. Sorry, I can not take tenants on benefits. And also, no pets. Thank you
