There is a fantastic café located near Lesnes Abbey.

Trains: Abbey Wood Station (Zone 4) with direct trains to London Bridge (27-31 minutes)/ Cannon Street (35 minutes)/ Waterloo East (37 minutes)/ Charing Cross (41 minutes)/ City Thameslink (38 minutes)/ Farringdon (40 minutes)/ St Pancras International (45 minutes). The DLR is two stations away and accesses London City airport.
Bus routes: There are also plenty of bus routes: 2-minute walk to bus stop with 177 or 180 (to Greenwich) or 177, 180 or 469 (to Woolwich) and B11, 96 or 422 (to Bexleyheath). N1 night bus from Central London which starts at Oxford Street.

Roads: The A2 is nearby for access to Bluewater, and feeds into the M25 for access to Kent and Dover.
Local area: Close to Lesnes Abbey Woods nature reserve with the ruins of the 12th-century Lesnes Abbey, the ancient Bostall Woods & Heath (part of the South East London Green Chain Walk which is well worth exploring) and Southmere Lake. Bostall Gardens (2-minute walk) has tennis courts, Bostall Heath (15-minute walk) has a cricket pitch and a football pitch, Abbey Wood Park (8-minute walk) has a football pitch too and Abbey Wood Yoga (6-minute walk) offer yoga classes locally.
