Lovely room available with shared bathroom, kitchen and living room (although you will have the place to yourself most of the time). There are two other bedrooms in the house, which will sometimes (occassional weekends mostly) be occupied by the owners (David & Ruth) and a well-behaved dog (Anna). More rarely, two adult children (Arthur & Olive) may join the owners. We are friendly and welcoming. David is a former employee of Dartmoor National Park Authority and works in nature conservation. Ruth is an NHS psychotherapist.

The living room is pleasant and has a wood-burner. The kitchen has Victorian built in cupboards. The building is many centuries old and has bags of character. It is Grade 2 listed. The location is very convenient for The Horse, The Union, The White Hart and the Co-op supermarket.

Rent is £450/month. You will be responsible for gas, electric, water, broadband and 50% of the Council Tax. The owners will pay the other 50% of the Council Tax and make an agreed contribution towards bills for each day they are there.

Looking for someone we'll feel comfortable with, so it will be important to meet up and see if we get along.
