Hello! I’m subletting my lovely little room in a quiet, leafy corner of Tottenham.

🏠 About the space

The bedroom opens onto the garden, which has a private area near the bedroom door. The garden's a decent size, with a shed. It’s cosy and secluded.

The bed is a futon sofa bed. Some days I leave it out. But more often put it away (like in the pics). It takes 30 seconds. And, although the pics don't show any, the room has curtains!

The bedroom is furnished, but you’re welcome to rearrange it however you like (removing or changing furniture, etc.) — just let me know of any changes you want to make. There's also extra storage and clothes space in the hallway cupboard.

Both the bedroom and living room are lovely and bright during the day.

The living room is a good size and has:

📺 Smart TV
🔊 Quality hi-fi sound system (for music and films)
🎶 Listening turntable (and record collection)
🪴 Some house plants
🍽 Good size dining table

The kitchen has a good fridge/freezer and a dishwasher and there's a washing machine and clothes rails. There’s one shared bathroom, with a good shower and bath.

Feel free to use the space as if it’s your own!

📍 About the area

It’s a residential pocket of Tottenham next to two great parks with lovely cafes, woods, water and wildlife. Real community vibe.

Less than 15min walk to Seven Sisters, which is well connected with Victoria line and overground.

Across the road there's a little speakeasy-type cocktail bar and restaurant that does open mic nights, quiz nights, etc. There are nice pubs in the area (e. g. The Palm and True Craft) and a good independent supermarket down the road. The best Turkish food in the country is also nearby (Green Lanes).

👥 About us

Danny, who you’ll be living with, is 28, works at a Premier League football club as a project manager, loves hiking and adventures and plays football regularly.

You'll also be living with Jaffa — a friendly Norwegian Forest Cat 🐈

I’m a recovery coach, HIV activist and DJ. We’re generally peaceful and quiet at home, but occasionally crank up the telly when the football’s on 😁

📌 Important info

I'll be living abroad and will return to London every 3 months or so, usually for 1-3 weeks.

When I'm back, I hope to stay back at the flat and take this room, at least for some of this time (e. g. a few days or 1-2 weeks). So I'm hoping for a little flexibility when I return for these short visits.

For those periods:

• I’d give you a month’s notice
• no rent would be due (pro rata)

So you'd save on rent while staying with friends, family, or maybe even while on holiday :)

If you can't stay elsewhere, I have other places I can stay, so I could also work around you.

I’m flexible and open to discussing all this!
