Hi, I'm looking for a flatmate to move into the large double (partially furnished with a large fitted wardrobe) with en-suite in this gorgeous 2-bed modern flat in a secure gated development in Islington. Furniture pictured in the room is of the previous tenant.

The flat has a large, modern open plan kitchen/living room, lots of light and a lazy balcony. The entire flat is finished to a really high spec with wooden floors and under floor heating. Bosch appliances - dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. The building itself is a prize winning, eco-friendly development with excellent sound proofing and double glazing on windows.

There’s also a secure storage for bikes in the building.

Location-wise, it's well-connected, with Tube and Overground stations within 7 minutes walk and 15 mins walk to the Regents Canal and shops, restaurants, cafes etc in Granary Square and King's Cross.

Looking for someone on a long-term basis but happy to consider short term lets for the right person too :)

About me: I’m a queer brown woman in my mid-30’s working as an urban anthropologist/historian in an architecture practice. If my profession doesn’t give that away, I'm a social, friendly person and I love people. My work can be fairly intense, so I really value coming home to a calm and nourishing space - good energy and laughter is very much appreciated!

Outside of work, I’m involved in a few community-focused projects, including a sauna co-operative in south-east London and an affordable housing build in north-west London. I also frequent the cinema, theatre, or attending music gigs, and cooking for friends or flatmates, especially hosting the occasional low-key gathering when time allows. You are ofcourse welcome to join me, but I do run quite a busy life so someone who is also happy to do their own thing most of the time would be an ideal match.


Bills are approximately £260 (cheaper during the summer) and includes a fortnightly cleaner.
