Mon-Fri let of a double room in a ground-floor (3-bed) flat. £600pcm, including all bills.
The room is peaceful and calm backing onto a communal garden (think trees and birdsong!) with a comfy double bed, shelves for your books etc, a desk/ table and chair plus plenty of storage / wardrobe space. (And please do change the artwork etc, to make the space your own).
And the flat, which is in a quiet, low-rise block, is a space to relax / rest / cook / work. There's a calm, clutter-free lounge-dining room with access to a little balcony area (perfect for morning coffee or a sundowner!), which overlooks the communal garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cupboard space and a large fridge / freezer (you won't just have half a shelf in a cupboard and fridge to squeeze in all your groceries). The bathroom has a bath and shower; and there's a separate toilet (so no worries if it's a good, long bath that you need).
Great travel connections: you can walk to overground stations Queen's Rd Peckham in 8 mins and New Cross Gate in 15 mins. And it's just a 5 min trot to bus stops for quick bus routes into Central. Peckham, Nunhead, Camberwell are all close, with plenty of good stuff going on.
It's just me living here. I work full-time in a central arts institution; and, despite that, still love the arts. Am usually to be found with my nose in a book. Party animal I am not; but I am sociable, easy-going, clean and tidy, fully house-trained, in fact; and used to sharing living spaces. I enjoy a good conversation / chat; but also know when to shush.
I have challenged my birth certificate, but, no, apparently I am now 60 years old. For the set-up here, an all-female household would work best.
Would love to hear from you if you think this all might work for you.
