I am a licensed London black taxi driver and am looking to rent out my spare double room mid-week. This means you have your own main home where you live every weekend.

I grew up in this area and moved back 4 years ago. It has brilliant connections. Just 3 stops to Charing Cross on the tube and a 15 minute bus journey to Liverpool St. in the other direction. Just 1 stop on the tube to Waterloo and the South Bank is a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute bus away. Kennington has been designated as zone 1.

The room is a generous double with 2 bedside units and a wardrobe. The window looks onto Forsyth Gardens. There is a shared bathroom with toilet on the same floor. There is an additional toilet downstairs. The house is light and bright and very spacious. The cab driver in me doesn’t love all the road closures in the area but it does make it a very calm place to live in central London.

I live alone in this 3 bedroom property and my adult son occasionally stays over.

I am out at work most days from 8am until 6pm and tend to work late on a Thursday. I enjoy going to the gym, cycling and playing golf. In the evening I tend to cook and watch either sport or documentaries on TV.
