I unfortunately have to go back to Italy for a while and will need to leave behind my lovely room, hence looking for a new tenant👀
About the room: the double bedroom is not huge but big enough to accommodate all your stuff and even a desk if you study or work from home. It comes furnished with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror. Only the bookcase will come away with me and will leave you lots of free space. I’m also gonna leave the bed side table!
Best thing about the room? The window! The view is on the buildings court and it’s very quiet and relaxing. The window is massive so you’ll get lots of sunlight during the day and that makes the room the warmest one in the flat!
About the flat🏡: it’s on the 4th and last floor of a very quiet building, we have no elevator but I promise you get used to it! Neighbours ar respectful and we never had any problem. The area is safe and our landlord is very nice and responsive, helping us with any problem we had regarding the flat!
The bathroom is huge, with a bath tub. We have a big living room/kitchen very bright during the day and super cosy at night! We decorated it when we all moved in so you’ll find it very homey🥰
About the flatmates: they are three girls, literally the best ones I could find. I’m really sorry I need to leave, but want to make sure whoever replaces me will match their energy and will make them happy and comfortable. We like to spend time together from time to time, catching up, having dinner, going out, playing board games, so the new flatmate will need to be someone looking for a HOME, not just a place to crash.
Mia🎨: 25, professional, from Croatia. She’s the artist of the flat, she super chatty and funny, you’ll never get bored with her around. Full of crazy ideas, it’s hard to keep up with her! Very much into galleries, exhibitions, design.
Fiona🧁: 24, from Ireland, professional working in engineering. She’s super nice, respectful and always ready to listen to you. Very much into baking, tv series and going out with friends.
Megan🎶: 21, from England, student in media and communications. She’s the little one of the flat, but very mature for her age. She’s lovely and very hard not to like her. Very much into music, concerts, gigs.
📍The flat is located in Elephant and Castle, 10 minutes from London Bridge, super central! (You can see the Shard top from the living room window!)
Elephant and Castle tube station is 10 mins walk from the flat and there is a bus stop literally downstairs!
We are super close to Burgess Park 🌳
Contract and Bills: bills are not included and usually come around £50/60 each monthly. The flat is very warm so we have saved quite a lot on heating!
The rent for the room is £865 monthly and running from the 10th of February until the 10th of September, with option to renew it probably, but that will be something to speak about with the landlord closer to the time.
Shops🛍️: Sainsburys is 5 mins walk from the flat, there is a big Tesco (Old Kent Road)and Asda Superstore within 15 mins walk. We also have Lidl super close, it’s not even 10 mins far away. The flat is located 3 mins far away from Walworth High Street, where you can find lots of South American food shops, little restaurants and chains (Mc Donalds, GDK, KFC..), charity shops and little supermarkets like Coop and Tesco local. A big Morrison is also 10 mins away from the flat.
On the other side, going towards Elephant and Castle station, we have a new area packed with restaurants, pubs, comedy club, book shop and coffee shops (Gails, Pret etc)
