I’m going to Brazil for work for ~6 months (late July to early/mid January) and am looking for the right girl for a temporary room-and-cat-care arrangement in my home while I’m away.

I would ask for a heavily discounted contribution to the rent in exchange for caring for my two amazing Bengal kitties.

🏡 THE FLAT

A gorgeous, bright top-floor flat on a quiet Edwardian square in Zone 1, with views of The Shard. It’s 5 minutes from Borough and around 10 minutes from London Bridge and Elephant & Castle.

Kitchen appliances upgraded, bathroom recently refurbished — a lovely space. We also have a shared back garden.

Bills included in the price, including a fortnightly cleaner.

🛏 THE ROOM

A huge, beautifully furnished double with plenty of space and a memory foam bed. It comes with a TV, PS5, and dedicated work station with a monitor.

I’ll be leaving some things behind as it’s temporary, so it would suit someone who doesn’t have loads of stuff — but I’ll make sure everything is organised and you have proper space.

🙋‍♀️ THE FLATMATE

You’d be living with only one other housemate — female, 28, friendly, easygoing, and Italian. She has a boyfriend, but he’ll be deployed for most of the sublet.

😻 THE CATS

My two Bengals are affectionate, clever goofballs. They’re not high-maintenance in a stressful way, but they do need proper interactive play, affection, and someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with cats.

Practically, I’ll arrange for a cat sitter whenever you’re away. They are insured, and all costs will be covered by me. I’ll show you everything you need to know before I go: food, litter, routines, play, vet info, emergency contacts, etc.

🧍‍♀️ WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This would suit someone who:
* genuinely loves cats and has lived with animals before
* wants a beautiful short-term London base
* spends a balanced amount of time at home
* is clean, kind, responsible, and considerate
* can make a quick decision, as I’m leaving soon

This is a fixed 6-month arrangement while I’m temporarily abroad for work — I’ll be returning in January, so it can’t become a longer-term let, however tempting the flat/cats/location may be! ;)
