Come live with me, I'm Faye, 48, female.
I've rented a room this flat for just over 10 years now. I work part time in Sports Media, which is hybrid between office and home. I also volunteer my time with a mental health charity selling sponsorship for them. My background is working on cruise ships, Theatre, as well as spending 20 + years in TV, Music, Film and Sports recruitment.
The flat is sandwiched between The Old Kent Road and Walworth Road.
There are 14 steps from front door to main floor of the flat.
The available room is on the main level. It has a double bed, single wardrobe, chest of draws, bed side cabinet. There is plenty of room to add own furniture too.
There are double glazed windows in the available room as well as Living Room, Kitxhen and box room. The bathroom will be re-decorated and new windows fitted this year
The flat has a large Kitchen,+ box room (with bed for friends and family sleep overs).
There is a decent sized balcony,( room to grow stuff if you so desire, or to just sit and lounge) with bistro table. Sun hits in the afternoon.
If you are wanting to stay on the street long term you can also put your name down for the allotment on Aylesbury Road. There are bike hangers available for rent and there is a lot of street parking available ( resident permits are good value).
The flat has a good sized bathroom with massive bath and shower. My room is in the loft conversion.
Living room has big comfortable sofa,
Now TV, Talk Talk TV & Disney.
Broadband is currently through TalkTalk.
Kitchen includes large fridge as well as dining table.
Very friendly street ( Aylesbury Road, se17, 2eq) where we have a summer street party and Christmas gathering annually. I really appreciate living in a street with friendly neighbours.
The land lady is great, she is quick to respond to any issues that may arise(very few in 10 years).
Pets welcome, there is a catflap here already
£920pcm plus bills ( currently total bills about £200 pcm + council tax if you are eligable to pay) Council tax band b.
